Terry - nice work. That is a good looking knife, but I know what you mean about it being useless. Just a little short for chopping and a little long for slicing. It does look about the same size as some knives I have seen that were used to harvest sugar cane. And I once ran into an old forester who was marking pine trees for cutting - he used a short heavy machete about that size to groove the bark.
