Schrade 294 mod

I've been able to finish up a few of these projects lately.

This was a nice 294 Walden that was sent to me. The customer wanted some nice Autumn Gold. Unfortunately, the size of the material needed required me to get a larger set, that was thick and domed. I don't think the dye carried throughout very well, so the color was not as rich. It still came out pretty nice, and the knife itself is a dandy example of Schrade's Walden years.

No, it has through-pin construction. I am used to these being swinden, so I was pleasantly surprised myself. This customer may be sending some swinden knives for me to work on, so I am looking forward that.
