Date on this queen stamp?

Post by muskrat man »

I picked up this queen electricians knife today, but cannot find the stamping anywhere, I've edited a pic of a queen tang stamp to show exactly what the tang stamp on this electricians knife looks like. It has black delrin scales with a bail, spear and wire stripper/screwdriver blades, linerlock, and long pulls (however in the position of regular pulls). I haven't got my camera software installed on this computer yet, I'll post pics when I do.

hey kaleb, don't know for sure but they started using that style in the early seventies. in 1976 they dated the stamp with a year.

Hey Kaleb,

I found the tang stamp with the USA, looks like it ran from 77-83. All of the pictures I found have the year (two digits) above the tail over USA.
