Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Pretty sure I already posted these, but can't find them anywhere. A Case XX 6214 and a W.R Case & Sons 6216 1/2.
Just got these from btrwtr (Wayne). A lot of real nice knives posted in this thread.

More beauties! ::ds::

Would that -16 1/2 be considered banana bone? Pretty nice looking material (for lack of a better word on the bone/jigging/color/texture). ::nod::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Thanks for the comments, DrM and redrider. The seller (btrwtr) called it early Rogers bone.

Yes, I believe it has been used some and sharpened. I was told it was possibly cleaned by Herb Aycock. Blades though seem mostly full and the knife is really tight and crisp. By far the best one I have owned and possibly the best one I have seen. It is the only Tested Congress I have seen with the center shield.
Thanks for the kind words. ::tu::
