Hello Everyone !
I'm a little ' computer illiterate ', and this is my first time trying anything like this, so it'll be interesting to see if this works. Otherwise.....help !
My name is Fran, a recently retired tinknocker, living near Bethlehem, Pa. I've been visiting, and enjoying this forum for several weeks now, and you all seem to be a great group. A few, with stores, may recognize me, and have received some of the cash that finding you all has been costing.
I just started collecting knives this past June, and have 8 GEC's, includinding 2 stag #23's, and 2 OH acrylics. Also 8 Fightin' Bull's, mostly swaybacks with exotic scales, and about a dozen other assorted brands and styles. I'm especially happy to have received my second C.F Wolfertz in the mail today. That was the 2cd. of 2 I bought this past weekend, and is my " hometown" brand.
My other major interests are chairman of acquisitions and interior decorator at http://www.lutzfranklin.com, and local collectables.

If it's meant for me to have it, it'll still be there.

Thanks for your warm welcome.
So, now I have to work on my photography skills, as well as the computer. Not just my wallet that'll be stretched here. I'll try to post a couple of pics here, and will need to take more for the future. No mint in this selection, but I like them. Wolfertz hawk had gobs of solder on bolsters & filler or epoxy on handles, coarse grinding on blade. I cleaned it up a bit to put in the one room schoolhouse, with everything else that's now 'politically incorrect', but may just keep it. Little 2 7/8" MOP Wolfertz raises the Ques. Could this be from 1862-1873 that the tang stamp indicates ?? Best about these 2 is $5 each !! B.T.W. USEEM......Got the Schatt Sm. Brn. Bone Mt.Man

Chris.....That could be....
I've 2 swaybacks with mammoth bark, but not a pearl. 2 bone, 1 walrus jawbone, & 1 seacow. I've got a long wish list, but Wendell is currently making one for me with a lanyard hole and my burl. You get the pearl with a buy it now ?

You will want to check out the hawkbill thread in the General Knife Discussion thread, if you like hawks!
You have some nice hawks there, I would love to see more of your hawkbills.
