Case XX 652
Can anyone tell me is Case made a model 652 fixed blade knife other than the 652-5. The knife would have been about 9 inches overall with a 3 revit jigged bone handle. The 652-5 I believe is a 2 revit jigged bone handle with a completely different style guard. The knife in question would have been almost if not identical to the Kinfolks 652 made in the late 1930's. I would love to find one to go with my Kinfolks 652. Thanks and have a great day

Re: Case XX 652
Case did make the 652 pattern with a double guard. It is an older and harder to find version of the knife than the single guard model.
Here are pics of 2 single guard green bone versions I sold recently on eBay.

If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Re: Case XX 652
Thanks for the information btrwtr. The single guard 652 is indeed a great looking knife and I have seen a number of them for sale. I have seen pic's of what I believed to be the double guard 652 knife but have never actually held one. They were in poor condition and the seller's had no clue as to what model they were. I would Love to find one in good or better condition to go with my Kinfolks 652. The search continues. Have a great day.
