Hello from an American Down Under!
I have carried a pocket knife of some sort since I was about 8 years old. I have always admired the workmanship and quality of a good one. Now, I can really appreciate the ones that are still good, since a lot of the brands I grew up with are no longer Made In USA. Luckily, I still have most of the ones I've carried over the years and even a hand-me-down or 2 from dad and his dad. I'm USAF Retired ('79-'99), and have settled down in sunny South Australia, mainly because this is my wife's home, but it's also not a bad place to be.
I am looking forward to participating in the goings-on here at the forum. Glad to be aboard!
Cheers,
GlennH
