The Mad Bomber of Mississippi Strikes Again!

Actually it was more like an Arc Light strike!

I couldn't believe all the goodies that came in this box!
-Three Camillus #72's
-A late production Camillus Canoe (brand-new)
- A long line Camillus #76
-A 3 line tang stamp jack, (circa 1920s or early 30s) well used but very sharp. This one is already getting pocket time.

- The Pièce de résistance, a four-line Camillus hobo! I love this knife!

This little jack is really cool! The blades are worn down but there like scalpels!
This is the same tang stamp as the 1932 George Washington penknife reproduction.

Here's a look at them with the blades open:

My turn! Owd Wullie (Willie) graciously offered to rehab my great uncle Sammy's old Lee's Waranted straight razor. I'll tell the whole story down in the straight razor section, but not only did the old soldier come back ready to shave, he sent me this old Simmons Hornet that's ready to shave, and put them both in really cool old straight razor boxes!

That Willie is good people! Thank you again sir!

The yellow one is uncle Sammy's, the other is the Hornet.

Congrats! I need to talk to Wullie about fixing up my great granddaddy's razor.
It has been a couple generations at least since it has been used.
There is a tag on the sleeve that says Lathrop Hardware, Lathrop Missouri, IIRC.
The price was written in pencil and is all faded so I can't read it.

I thought Florida was a peaceful state, full of doddering retirees who have no idea what a BOMB is. I was wrong. "Scott the Mad Bomber" is on a roll and blew through my defenses like an Abrams tank.

I opened an unexpected package yesterday (from Scott) and in it were these two items. A Camco Old Taylor Bourbon advertising knife (says "The noblest Bourbon of them all") and a fancy gold decorated Old Taylor 9 oz. sipping glass. I'll try that one out tonight Scott. Or should I buy some Old Taylor with which to christen it?
