This knife was an old Camillus #551 Barlow black fiber composition handles that had seen better days.
The bolsters and liners are steel, so it took a little work to shine it up when I was finished.
I replaced the old handles with some Sambar stag. I thinned the stag so that it would not be too thick, but I didn't realize that a deep groove in the stag went as deep as it did. After I trimmed up the overlap of the handles, the pile side handle is very thin towards the end of the pile side scale.
I think it will make a good user for someone.
