Swing Guard Stiletto

Post by Mossdancer »

Found a couple of hours ago. Frozen tight as a lid on an old jar of mayonaise. Four drops of oil and a bit of exercise and it snaps like a turtle. Any interest let me know.
Probably from Mexico as the only mark is Stainless Steel. Plastic handles more than likely. Just shy of 5 inches closed.Engraving on hasp is excellent The swing guard is tight and even.

Edit: Credible source says more than likely made in Japan. Not very durable. It is open in the drawer with the rest of the switching crew.

Your knife was actually made in Japan. Most were sold to Mexican tourists. They are not durable, so operate it as little as possible. Thr Rizzuto Estiletto Milano has become reasonably collectible of late.

The swing guard is already gone. As I remember it sold for a few bucks over a 100.
