Beautiful old knife, JB. Pruning .... horticulture knife?? I'm going with Rosewood on the handle.
Hasn't been used much, maybe sharpened a little.

The Schrade Catalog listed it as "Large Pruning Knife" and the handle as Cocobolo.
Later in the 1978 catalog they were listed as "Pruner" and no specific handle material listed though it appears to be wood in the drawing.

Here's a Imperial Scout I came across at the Flea market.
Can't see it in the pics but still has the Etching,it's light but there.

Nice one Catt Man. There are a couple of variations of that knife. One has a large caplifter blade the other has a much smaller one. I have one with the large caplifter in my EDC (now and then) box. The steel in those old Imperials is excellent.

Thanks Phil,it is a very well made Imperial,it's almost a shame they made the cheaper shell Knives.
But they sold a lot of them!
I'll have to look as I may some some other ones.

Hit the snow storm flea market today and gut a Camillus riggers knife and what I thought was s lb-5 but afta cleaning her I had a Schrade SCM5 FOR L.L.Bean.

I still have a strong interest in Cars; can you send me some information on that new Ford?
Ford has been selling the Falcon in Australia, since 1960 and thay are stopping manufacturing next year.
Ford will import their cars from the USA, like the Mustang. Ken

I'm glad to hear that Ford is exporting to you guys what kind of info U looking for???this is the first time since the 80's that I got a new Ford,and reason being they are the only one of the Big three that didn't need to be bailed out by the goverment of the U$. they are still making the Falcon????

Actually no,I'm on disability,but I know what you mean,sure aren't many good Jobs to be had.
I did live in Rockland a couple years ago for a time.
My Son in law is a Lobsterman out of Lincolnville.
Taxes suck here in PA as well.
