Dearest Laura,
May God Bless YOU and your family.
I too just like many others on this fine site came to know Roger,as we always respected his knowledge of our hobby, we found in him a true friend. He was always ready, willing, and able to share insight and he taught us so very much. I assure you that each and every knife I have that came from Roger (and there are many) has become even more precious to me. Laura, please stay in touch, again may God Bless you and yours, may he give you the peace that passes ALL understanding, and may he flood your sorrow with memories of good times and better times shared together.
We all shall miss our Knifer Friend and Texas Pardner, but we know we shall see him again some day.

Roger
Hey Laura!
Thanks for stopping in to let us know what has happened. Like many others here have done, I'm posting my heartfelt sadness and prayers to you and yours through this time of great loss. I too appreciate what Roger was to this site. It is men like Roger that make great contributions for those of us that like to learn on this website. Roger was one of the contributors to learn by, and will be sorely missed. Thanks for keeping in touch and as I've said, you and yours are in our families prayers. God Bless! Respectfully submitted. Our old Texas knife Pard...
Got an email from Laura. No arrangements have been made yet. She's waiting for his Daughter to come from California.
Laura wants to have a service for him but he will probably be cremated and his ashes taken back to California, where his Children live and be spread over the ocean.
God be with Laura and the Family during these trying times.

Roger will be missed <><
Hello Laura,
I will miss Roger, I never met him face to face but I did get to spend some time on the telephone with him & of course in many emails as well.
We had some friends in common & I know there will be a void now that he is gone.
He was a good man & you & all who loved him are in my prayers.
God Bless <><

Laura,
You and your family will be in my prayers. I'm sorry for your loss.
Roger and I talked a time or two and had talked about meeting over a cup of coffee one day soon. I wish I had taken the time to schedule that meeting. Well, he and I can have that meeting at a later date.
Can you let us know of Funeral and viewing times please? I'm not far from yall.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Laura. Roger was a great member of AAPK and was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the Case classic knives. The world is less another good person

Hi I want to thank each and every one of you for all the kind things you have said about Roger. I know they are all true. He has always brought such joy to my life. So hard to believe he is gone. Final arrangements have been made finally. There will be a Memoral Service for Roger on Friday September 7th at Klein Funeral Home at 10 A.M. 1400 West Main Street Tomball, Texas 77375. I will stop in from time to time to say hello. Who knows maybe I can learn as much about knives as he did. He taught me a lot too. Everyone Be Safe and Do Take Care Laura
