Today haven't decided whether it'll be the Anglo Saxon again or this old 4 inch Western whittler.

I needed a knockabout to work on my truck. This did what I needed without complaint.

nice ones guys!

This one on lime duty. If a knife has patina, I am cool with that. But I personally never try to force patina and use a SS knife when cutting citrus, etc. I put a CV knife in my son's hand that my father gave me right before he walked down the aisle to get married. He cut oranges with it and screwed up a mint knife, in my opinion. I was able to clean it up abit in hopes that when his son gets married, he would put it in his hand as I did.

1973' CASE 6347 HP SSP Stockman

I personally love SS blades for yard use, etc. Just hose it off and a drop of oil and you are good to go!

Garddogg, your picture is titled Foley Pond. I looked it up on Maps. Is it the pond near Seboomook Lake?
Do you live around there? That's nice country.

Went for a ramble in the woods today and took these two oldies along....Ulster Old Timer 58OT that to the best of my recollection was my first pocket knife! I only take it out on rare occasions...like a beautiful October day. The jack is an old Schrade Cut Co that dates from 1917-'46, well worn but still solid and snappy with great half stops.

Thank you sir! I can't wait to try it out - it definitely has that "old school" look. OH
