2 Vintage Remington Bullets on ebay tonight R4353 R4243

I thought these deserved their own thread.....here is a preview for you guys, these will be going up on the bay tonight around 8pm eastern. I will post direct links after they list. I have not cleaned or polished either of them, I got them last night from the same collector that I have been getting all of my knives from. Unfortunately this is the end of his collection, but fortunately I still have a few hundred left to sell!

Unfortunately I cannot see any of the etching remaining on that blade.

I will call ebay tomorrow....that is VERY odd, since I get messages every day from potential bidders about specific items.

--edit--I am hold with ebay for the past half an hour....this needs to be fixed!!!!!!

Well that was fun....spent an hour and a half on the phone with ebay tech support over this. Apparently it is a known issue, they have had "a number" of sellers contact them with the same problem beginning on September 10th. I was VERY vocal with my complaint, this is a huge issue that needs to be fixed......having bidders unable to ask me questions is like running a retail store with no employees. I will be calling them back tomorrow for an update. I feel that this problem has and will affect bidding, so I am thinking about ending both bullet auctions and relisting them again.

.....was on the phone again with ebay this morning, they had not yet fixed the issue at that point. However I just received a question via ebay on one of my other newly listed knives so I believe it may be fixed now. Can some awesome member do me a favor and ask me a question via ebay about either or both of the bullet knives so I can verify that ebay did their job?

....on the phone with them AGAIN for 40 minutes this morning, still no ETA on a fix. I have added instructions on how to contact me to every one of my listings, hopefully that will help other buyers get a hold of me if needed. I am still considering ending the bullets and relisting them when the problem is fixed....I will let you know here when I decide.

Supposedly the problem is fixed, so I have closed and relisted the knives. Hopefully any questions will come through....fingers crossed....
