help me knife experts!!!!

can anyone help me identify this knife it was giving to me by my grandparents and someone told me they thought is was valuable i belive its real bone handle and they thought it might be a Humason & Beckley but im not sure... thanks

Welcome.I cannot identify the knife from the pictures. It's value is only sentimental in it's condition,and that's priceless.

u have no idea what the maker or nething even if its really old it has no value?

just because its old does not mean its valuable and condition really is everything, You should value it because your grandparents thought enough of you to give it to you.

To do the knife justice one of us would have to have the knife in hand and look at it under high power magnification. The pictures are not clear enough nor high enough resolution to see any markings on the knife.

A pattern like that is a 'muskrat' pattern and most companies have made that pattern in the last 100 years.
When all the markings are worn off, they all pretty much look the same.

If the knife was of an unusual shape or blade configuration we might be able to hazard a guess of a company or two as the likely makers. But with such a common pattern, blade configuration and handle material, it is impossible to tell who made it from the pictures.

If we had it where we could clean the rust and patina off the tangs to see if there is a tang stamp, and look at it with a 45X or greater magnification, then we might find some identifying marks.
However sometimes the marks are worn off or there never were any marks to begin with.

Sorry we could not help much, but there is not enough detail shown to see what the knife is, especially with such a common pattern.

I think Mr. Levine will have better luck identifying it with the knife in his hand.
