I'm not a razor collector but I do like cutlery that's from Missouri, so when I saw this Barnsley Bros. from Monett, Mo. I thought it needed to come home...
I think it's in good shape for a 100+ year old razor. With the tang being covered and the scroll work on the handle would this be considered a somewhat fancy razor?

That is a great razor Bob, the handles are very appealing. And to your question, yes it would be considered a fancy razor. The detail work on the shank is a nice accent in addition to the covering. It has a type of hollow grind.

I've seen BB's for sale here and there, but I've never seen one dressed up like that one.
Good snag to sit beside that BIG old BB toe you've got.
