That's a neat knife jpd.Just Plain Dave wrote: Trying to fight off the rust. Been WORKING on getting the blades as sharp as I want!
Is it old? What kind of steel is it?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm not all that familiar with GEC knives but I know there will be some GEC for me in the future.
By the way, carrying this so far today.
I never met a Schrade I didn't like

That's why I went with the MOKI, when it gets dirty I just run it under hot water and the VG-10 steel never rusts. That was the only thing I hated about GEC's was they rust faster than any carbon knife I ever carried.Just Plain Dave wrote: Trying to fight off the rust. I am still carrying this old Robeson as well , I really like it a lot.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
The knife I showed is perhaps a year old GEC 15 Boys Knife.
Yep that GEC steel rusts for a thought!
I forgot my ZT OHO on Tuesday so I used the Humpback to liberate packing lists.
Had nothing that needed a blade yesterday.

Give me an honest appraisal of it after you've carried it a few days. I just like the looks of them and have never carried one so I'm curious about your opinion of it as a user.

The poor Packers had a long night last night! (sorry Mike).garddogg56 wrote:Mike your poor Packers

It was a good game though. Closer than I thought it would be.
Ironically I have been a Packers fan since I was a kid.
They are my second favorite team; of course the Seahawks are my #1 favorite!

Yes fellas, it was a rough one for certain. I have faith that we will make the necessary adjustments though and right the ship. Mike McCarthy is a great leader, we shall bounce back! I was just relieved the game was decided by the players this time around, and not a replacement ref!orvet wrote:The poor Packers had a long night last night! Last few days I've been packing this nice Imperial dogleg jack. I have a couple more similar as you can see.
These knives are good packers on any day.
Thanks.

Great looking Case Gino!
Love those doglegs Joe!
I carried these two in the woods this morning...GEC 26 and the full size KABAR. Was ready for all contingencies.
