TL-29 mod in Stag

Post by glennbad »

Here's another I finished recently. Barehead with Stag, EO, and reprofiled screwdriver blade. This one was almost too nice to let go...

I'm on a stag kick right now, got 3 or 4 stag projects underway right now. Didn't plan it like that, just worked out that way, LOL.

Nice work Glen, I like the easy open skins, I would've never guessed it started out as a tl29.

From one who appreciates a good TL, that is up there with the best Glenn. The magnificent modification of the screwdriver blade is special, and those Stag scales...... WOW.

Thanks guys!

I don't know why i haven't worked with the stag before, maybe cause it can be a bit pricey for the good stuff. It seems to be fairly easy to work with, but I do have to spend more time planning how it will end up looking. I'm not a big fan of really fat stag on a knife, so I like to take it down. Still learning that part of the prep.

I'm looking forward to trying some on a smaller knife.

Thanks again!

Very beautiful work on that knife Glenn and all the others you have worked for that matter!

Looks like a classy worker knife to me.
