Post by fulldraw »

Hello. I'm John from Alabama. I collect mostly Case knives due to my Dad being a big Case collector. My Dad died last year so I now have his collection as well as my own. I do like Kershaws as well. Hope to talk to alot you soon.

I sure will. My Dad gave me his collection a few years before he died because he wanted to see me enjoy them. Then when we were going through his things after he died, I found several he held out on me. I guess there were some he could not part with. hehe

welcome john. the persuit and aquisition of knives is very satisfying, but none will be held with more pride than your fathers collection gifted to you. show some pics. we are all learning from each other.

::doh:: ...; "My Dad gave me his collection a few years before he died because he wanted to see me enjoy them."

Now that was a smart man. He may have said ("Look these are YOURS but they stay here... 8)... . Would you like to hold one ? I got this one from. I got this one because. When I was in town I got this one for you. I like this one because. Come see what I just got for you this week. What did you buy now ?")... ::nod:: ::nod::

Looking back you just might hear him say things like that.

I know my boys come over looking to see what I also got for them, but the knives stay here....

WELCOME and Thanks for pointing out WHY WE COLLECT.... ::drool::
