W.W. Auction #11-CASE XX 1971' 6383 Whittler *ENDED*
UP for auction here on AAPK with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Bid high and hard please.
Our soldiers need our help!
This beautiful CASE Splitback Whittler was donated by myself!
CASE XX USA 1971' 6383 Splitback Whittler. Unused, not carried or sharpened. This knife is near mint with a couple of very small pepper spots on the mainblade. All nickel silver liners, pins, bolsters and wedge. The blade action is stiff on this one with good snap, no wobble. Not a nail breaker but stiff as I said, I personally prefer that over a loose knife. Seems that the 70's 83 patterns were made like that as I have a few others and they are the same way. This knife is tight that is for sure. Beautiful reddish brown bone with no cracks or chips whatsoever.
Please bid high as you all have my word that every penny will go to the WWP. I am a man of my word if nothing else.
Just post your bid with a reply to this thread. Auction will run thru Sunday, September 14th, until 5PM PST. The last bid entered by post reply @ 4:59PM on said date is the auction winner.
Sorry, I do not do PayPal, so cash, check or Postal Money Order will the required form of payment. If you absolutely have to do PayPal, I will try to work something out with a buddy that has it but no guarantees so please PM me if that is condition on bidding or not. You can also make a check out to "Wounded Warrior Project" and send it to me if you prefer that route. This may even qualify for a tax deduction but you would need to consult your tax preparer to be sure. Please donate a knife for this effort if you can.
Thanks for your help and support. Regards, Jerry
