crown knife

I recently bought a small pocket knife at a yard sale for 25 cents... I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what it is.. it is about 3 1/2 inchs long when its folded with a 2 inch blade the unique thing about it is that its ultra thin and you pull a tab at the rear of the knife to open the knife .....there is a small crown on the release tab and there is a a company logo that could be ri knife corp or rl knife corp or rj....

Pulling the tab at the end of the knife is interesting you do not mention is the knife spring operated. If it is spring operated it soulds like a pullball a G Schrade but your ( vague ) description seems more in line with a cam knife which was a ratchet mechanical version of the pullball which came out in the fiftys to circumvent the law on the spring operation. SWANK and Hickok, among other mens jewelery companies usually sold these with inexpensive knives with sets of mens accessorys. I am attaching a pic let me know if anything looks familiar some of these will not apply however some might. The pic does not allow me to separate them. The crown part is confusing is that the pull or the tang marking?

Interesting lighter knife LT.

Here is one that Al Mar made. It was designed to take a Mini-Bic lighter. The blade is ATS-34, and very sharp!
This was my cigar lighter when I smoked cigars.

Thanks for sharing the many variants, that were tried to get around the anti-switchblade law.
