Nice finds Joe - the Old Crafty is a neat variation of the Old Timer. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Thank you, Old Hunter. It's a neat knife. First one of its kind I've had my hands on.

Scott -- Is that a bug bite in the blade's edge or an anomaly in the picture. Is the knife still sharp?

Scott, I have one of those 6225 1/2 knives (much newer - made in 2000) that is one of my regular EDC knives - you will like the size; great "gentlemen's" knife and yours is the old Case carbon steel - even better! OH

Very nice knife finds lately boys ::tu:: I had a great week-end of hunting at flea markets and collectible shops... a couple of nice USA (Case, LF&C, Kingston), Sheffield (IXL, J.U. James, Vulcan Tellin & Co) , German (Altenbach) and a South African? Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with the Case coke bottle jack ::tu::
and that Kingston is a fat bottom knife! I have seen them before but I never realized they were that thick.
cheers

Nice haul, Lawrence. I was in Ontario for a couple of weeks last year and checked out quite a few antique shops and flea markets. Didn't find any knives.

Thanks guys, I guess I was lucky this time around. It's usually hit and miss, mostly miss... I must have checked about 15 places because I was by myself, in no hurry, and driving up to cottage country. Now if my wife was with me there would be questions about the number of stops, and the number of knives. cheers
