Tell Brand, Germany???????????????????????

Hey guys, I have been buying a few knives on here and now I have a question.

I just bought an old hunting knife with stag handles. The tang is stamped "TELL" and beneath that "GERMANY" Its an old knife but I cant seem to find any info on it. If any of you guys have heard of one let me know....Thanks Nathan

I see that mark mentioned in a couple of reference books...possibly in operation from 1945-1960. No other information listed, however.
Also, possibly one of many importers of German knives in the 50s and 60s, rather than a maker. That, is a GUESS.
