Question on a Imperial England Knife

Can anyone tell me what is the difference in an Imperial Prov. and a Imperial England besides the obvious? Thanks

Interesting that the Providence, RI knife has a Diamond Edge shield.

I think the England marked knives were manufactured from mid 1970's to mid 1980's. Maybe someone will have a more exact answer.

I don't think the England factory was open for very long - only a couple of years at most.
Goins lists it at 1980. I guess they probly moved the equipment to Ireland although I
could be wrong - just a guess - they could have just sold it off. Consolidating manufacturing
was there game.

Looks to be the same dies they used in Providence.
I have only about 4 or 5 of them. Not many around.
There very few colors that I have seen - certainly not like the US made ones.
