Just received this one in the mail. This is not my main collection focus but I always wanted one like this. I don't know much about this knife so a little education would be well appreciated. I am aware of it's value and I was fortunate to buy this at a fraction of value cost. Again any help would be well appreciated. This is what I know which is very little. Thanks in advance for your shared knowledge.

Nice Knife !!!! I like it Rocky !!!!!
___________ I have ( had before bone chipped ) the same knife, with box & papers --- from what I found doing research, the knife was made in Olean,N.Y. , after Union Cutlery Co. moved from Titusville,Pa. to Olean,N.Y. around 1910__and before 1923,when they started using the Ka-Bar stamp on most all knives ___my knife like yours, is the one below with Stag Handles, that I had MM re-scale, after the "Rogers Bone" chipped ***** ____ the other one is original and has "Union" on the shield __ I have both boxes, but only the one paperwork** ____ I found a great history page on the company (from start till now) but can't locate it now
__ Kutmaster is what they go by now**___ Monk

Good morning Monk and thank you for that great information.
MM did a beautiful job on you knife, the stag handles are fantastic!
You have a beautiful complete set and I too wish I had a box and papers for it.. if you know anyone with those items, (that are in good shape )I would be very interested in them.
If you should locate that informational history I would be pleased if you would share it with me. Thanks again for your response and awesome pics.
