Howdy to All of Ya'll
Ya'll have spoiled me. I spend more time on AAPK than anything else. Ya'll are so helpful and so knowledgeable. I don't know if I qualify as a collector as I don't have a lot of knives (How many does it take to be considered a collector?) I have tried collecting makes, patterns, etc. and gave it all up. I now just buy a knife occasionally that I like, doesn't mattern make, pattern, or what.
I like the looks of many of the traditional knives ( particularly Bulldog, Hen and Rooster, and older Kissing Cranes) but for EDC I like a small Spyderco or Benchmade. They are fine for the hard work I put a knife through: opening envelopes, cutting string, tape or opening anything bought at Walmart. Thanks for the help guys. Hope I can return the favor.

HOWDY TO ALL YA'LL
Thanks guys. Ive been browsing the site for a couple of weeks, thanks to Hukk. I sell at the local flea market once a month( not just knives), and my box of "sellers" is getting smaller as I keep removing knives and putting them into my home "keepers" box. Nothing like AAPK to make you love the ones you have once more, so I guess my collection is getting bigger without buying a whole lot more knives.
Ya'll come to see me if you are ever in Ripley,MS on the weekend of the 1st Monday of the month.

Yeah, Sunburst, I think I've got a case of the Schatts already. That Mountain Man trapper shore is purty.
