woseyjales, yes it seems that the fold on the scroll has no edge line on both ends, I will have to dig mine out and see if it is the same.

Yeah I got tickled when I saw those verticle small ribbon edge lines missing. Kind of thing that happens when one stops etching template to answer the phone!

Something else, the box label or paperwork has the lines on their scroll so it is just the blade etch. Be interesting to hear if yours is the same or complete. lemme know.

woseyjales, picture confirms that my Orgill 104OT is exactly the same as yours, as is the box.

I think this is something that will be looked for on other knives with this sort of scroll work.[/img]

Interesting Rusty. Maybe ours are the only TWO! lol
Anyone know how many Orgill 1040s were produced or if any other Orgill 150th Annv patterns were made?
Got this one in today, took awhile to find one complete and fairly reasonable. But like they say the Lord watches after babes & fools. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm NOT a babe.....

1983 Schrade Heritage 8341-G (same as 34/834) G for green bone.

A sweet Heritage Stockman there woseyjales, love classic looking bone handled knives, by the way your user name is rather similar to an East Clintwood film of a few years back, any similarity. also love the Old Roller in the dropback of the second picture.

maybe not a 150 th anniversary knife cannot tell what the etch says, an Orgill just the same, just listed on E-bay an 858 UH with stag handles and etched blade, do not know if you can link to live auctions although you should be able to find it.

1984 NCHP 55th Annv. Bone TM-4 trapper #394 (285UH size)
