Keen Kutter Question

Guys,
I am attaching some photos of a Keen Kutter stockman. There is no pattern number, only the keystone logo. Handles are green bone. The knife is 4 inches long, closed.
A friend has asked me to list the knife on eBay for him and I told him it did not have the appearance of an old knife. The logo was used until 1940 which would make the knife 74 or so years old at the minimum.
My friend feels sure the knife is an old knife.
Did Parker make any repros of this brand? Is this an old knife?

I don't have any definite answers, but the way the liners are bulged out away from the springs, and the blade pin showing in the bolster, I would assume its not 100% authentic.

Apologies as I failed to mention that all blades are stamped with the logo.

Not at all an old knife. I don't think it is a Parker repro.

I don''t think Parker did repro's of those, but I'm willing to be corrected if I'm wrong. The stamp looks good and if in your shoes, I'd have to ask too. I don't believe I'd be willing to immediately write it off as a newer knife since I have a Keen Kutter Whittler that is authentic and in great condition. If you didn't pay a fortune for it, I'd say you did good Ray.

I would not sell that knife for anyone. No disrespect intended but it is not an authentic KK knife from any era let alone pre-1940 E.C. Simmons. Not sure what it started out as but it's now pretending to be a KeenKutter.

I agree with what Wayne has already said. The knife has a lot of problems.

The stamp looks good and if in your shoes, I'd have to ask too.

I have a fake KK stamp and originals are out there as well. Look at the entire knife not just the tang stamp
