Hello All,
I am looking for beat up, used and hammered CASE 6111-1/2L Swing Guards with eight dots visible. Which would be a 78' or 79' knife in my opinion, undetermined. Like to have the swing guards still on them if possible. Trying to research the CASE dotting system as it relates to hidden dots (or not) by the guard. Want them so I can remove guards and study them, relation to other characters on the mark stamp, etc. Not concerned about condition otherwise.
I am pretty sure I saw one recently posted on the forum by a member but I cannot recall where.
Please let me know by reply or PM. Thanks and Regards, Jerry

I'm looking for some swing guards too Jerry. I don't really care about the knife as I just need at least one XX, USA or dotted Era swing guard as a pattern for making new ones for all those knives out there who have lost theirs over the years.

An EDIT first: Looking for CASE 8 dot visible 71' or 72' swing guards. I mistakenly said 78' or 79'.Elvis wrote:I'm looking for some swing guards too Jerry. Hey Bob,
Maybe if either of us finds a knife like the one I mentioned we can help each other out. If I find one, I will send to you and you can remove and pattern it and snap some pics for me for the "Hidden Dot" research I am doing. Thread is in the CASE forum.
Regards, Jerry

Deal. I have something on the Case Collector's Club Forum in the "Wanted" section, so maybe I can do some good on my end.
