Great knives guys.
Today I'm taking this Schrade 8OT to work.
Came yesterday. Cleaned it up and it's not bad for $16.

Thanks philco, Forgot to add it cost $3.00 shipping.

It was pretty dirty and dull as heck plus very stiff. I used my clean up method on it.

I use warm water, dish soap, tooth brush then dry with the wife's hair dryer.
Then I lube it with mineral oil then sharpen.
It's still tight but I think because it wasn't used much. Good snap all around.
I'm liking it. :)

Nice ones Gents! Nice pickup Producer!
Carrying this pair again before I box up the swing guard to ship out for some aesthetic work. Not that it is not good looking enough already, in my opinion. One of my favorite EDCs.

My understanding is that those Spyderco liner lock knives are good stuff!
I don't currently have a knife in pocket.
But I'm going to go out later and visit a gun show.

For the last three + weeks, 90% of the time I'm carrying an Old Timer 34OT; occasionally I'll pocket a Case jack knife or Mini-Copperhead. I'm getting pretty boring! OH

Grabbed this knife for an EDC while on a recent trip......nice solid lock-up and razor sharp out of the box. Didn't check a bag on the way down so grabbed this to use while gone and then checked a bag on the return. The action on this is kind of neat.....the thumb stud is pushed in, then it's an assisted opener that 'fires' really nice and has a liner-lock and pocket clip. All around a pretty sweet little knife.

I've never had anything from CRKT. How's the fit, finish and overall quality?

Jerry D, sometimes same old is a great thing. Especially when a friend made it! OH, no sense changing if you like it.

I like the slant bolster Buck GD!

Trevor, not personally a fan of that style folder, not my thing but that is a really good looking knife.

I occasionally carry three knive lately as the Delrin 47 Stockman has really grown on me. Really like that pattern. Muuuuuuusssst reeeesssit pulling an old bone or stag from the collection to EDC.

Copperhead, Stockman and old green bone XX pen today. Nothing like a XX green bone with the closed C shield. Sharp little bugger too!

Regards, Jerry

I used to carry a flip phone just like that Jerry....until I got water on it from a tub on a shelf that spilled into the pocket holding my phone.....then I was forced to get one of these new do-jobbies......

That's not a flip phone Scott. It's a slider with the slide out keyboard. Several years back I had just gotten a new phone and I dropped it in the toilet (slid out of my shirt pocket). Thank goodness it was "clean" water. Dried it out thoroughly and it worked fine until I cracked the display.

Nice knives all.
That Svord Peasant looks neat. I don't have one of those, hmm.

Well just for this morning it's #18, then to an 80t.
