Oriential knife?

All, have you ever saw a knife like this? No background available and I haven't the slightest if it is worth anything or a junk knife.

BEST F-STEEL and 2 oriential stamp marks is all I see.

Any information is appreciated.
BTW, I have 3 pictures but not sure if I put them in correct.

I can't help you much with this knife, except it doesn't look oriental to me. After all the stamp is in English and the two symbols don't look oriental.... they kinda suggest English origin.

The workmanship looks Pakistani or Indian (Eastern variety) to me.

Probably Pakistani with forged Joseph Rodgers, Sheffield marks.

I was thinking Indian also based on the tang stamp on the back and the steel quality.

That particular mark was used on knives made in India starting I believe in the 1950's or just after WWII.Most common pattern was the large folding bowie style(blade still protruded even after it was closed)with a lever locking mechanism. Usually stamped,"No.6 Best Sheffield Steel" with the fake Joseph Rodgers cross and star logo on the opposite side.Early ones had horn scales and brass bolsters and were VERY crudely made.
I had a couple of them in the 1970's and either gave or threw them away.

This site ROCKS! The knowledge from the combined replies is why I wanted to join. I appreciate all the replies. Looks like this one will be another knife for my grandson. He is only five but loves to look through my many knives (nothing of value really) but he has the same desire as me when it comes to knives. I have given him some and have some put away for him in his later years.
