Case -28 Teardrop Jack

Just wondering if you guys have seen the latest from Case and Tony Bose, the 3 1/2" teardrop jack;

Here's a picture from Sargent's 2nd Edition of the original 2 7/8" version. Supposedly the ones I ordered are arriving Monday, can't wait to see them.

Mine arrived in today's mail, hoping to post some pictures tomorrow. The honey stag is thick!!! About twice as thick as the amber bone single. Kind of partial to the pocket worn red but the bareheaded single is nice too. Half-stops and impressive fit & finish. I think Tony Bose designed a real winner here.

Here's some pictures, check out the thickness of that Sambar stag. Rivals that used in the 70's in their stag sets. Also, look at how the lines flow in the open position, reminds me of a smaller version of the letter opener Case makes as part of their Office Set.

The ebony SHOT Show teardrop showed up over the weekend. The only downside(?) is the weight, a little on the light side in my opinion. But it's a gorgeous knife, with a certificate of authenticity.

Fought the urge all last week want to order the PW Red until I gave in Sunday. It went out Monday, should have it tomorrow as it's already made it through Indy and on the way to my city. Now, going to have to save up for the Ebony!!!!

I recd my amber-bone TD , my first impressions are, f&f looks really good , no sharp liners, really sharp out of the box(shaves hair) some say is a sign of sharpness, as I played with it though I found the blade is not centered and is already marking the blade which I guess in a user is no big deal and the shield is a little proud on one end and the spring is a little weak, but overall I am liking this pattern for a small edc.

Weak springs means that I will have to handle the one I get in hand first
