I bought this one from a fellow forum member here in 2012. This is what it looks like after two years of EDC in my LF pocket.....

Happy birth day!

I'm still a packing this old loom fixer. I'm a liking it better every time I use it. I actually picked up an even nicer spare, but I still need two more. I've got three sets of sticky little fingers that keep eyeballing mine!

If you mean the K88K, I like them fine, have a couple. However, those, the Douk-Douk and the Squirrel many times have blades that are way off the centerline of the knife, as sighted down the back.

My K88K's suffer from this but not horribly, the Squirrel has a straight blade.

...but if they ain't straight it'll drive ya nuts looking at it.

All I remember for sure is it says carbon steel on the package. I'll dig it out for a trial run tonight.

dcgm4,
That K.R.Johnson trapper caught my eye ::woot:: !! Looked that one up, that ol' boy makes some fine lookin' knives. Just guessin' those knives probably cost a dollar-three-eighty ::shrug:: . Out of my league but they sure look great! The site showed a barlow style with a customer's initials, I thought it was rather unique. Thanks for showing your great knife.

Thanks, treefarmer! :D That knife has become my regular EDC for over a year now. Mr. Johnson does some superb work. Normally his knives would be out of my range too, but I was lucky enough to get mine used from another collector, so that saved me quite a few pennies. ::nod::

I had PLENTY of spare time yesterday.
I have mentioned I have been carrying the Kutmaster Scout.
I tried and tried to make it cleanly slice paper.
And I failed.
I need to just suck it up and get a Pioneer.....
