For the fourth day in a row I am carrying two pocketknives (redundancy is the order of the day!) The Schrade is in my left front pocket (my normal carry place) and the Case is in the watch pocket (the experimental place). OH

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I made one further change in my daily carry.
A SAK (at least one like I carried for a day or two) has no soul.
I changed to this because it is as close to my Imperial as I can get.

dogg, I didn't have a clue what you were talking about so had to look that up. The reference to Zumwalt made more sense when I remembered that you're now working in a shipyard.garddogg56 wrote:Were getting the Zumwalt ready for Christening Saturday gut my Vantage and Sears nut with me.

Day off so I'm working in the garage/yard hence the multple carries.
Forgot to include my most regular carry for the last month or more.
The venerable TL-29. It is just so handy and feels very substantial.
It feels indestructable to me. Like it so much I bought a half dozen[ Camillus]

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice Carries Guys! Nice old Colt sandy!
I always carry a knife in my jeans coin pocket (watch pocket?). Up to 3-1/2" fits fine. Also, a larger knife in my LFP. May not be for everyone but I do so for 3 reasons...
1. I like carrying 2 knives. A small one and larger one for different tasks. I don't carry keys, change or anything else in the same pocket with my knives. I don't like having to empty my LFP of other crap to get to my EDC and I can't afford to tie up more main pockets.
2. Considering the first 2 sentences in #1 above, I only use what I need for the task. So if a small knife will do, I use that. I treat knives like picking a hammer for a task. If I need to drive a nail, I don't use a 20 pound sledgehammer, I use a claw hammer. I don't try to use a claw hammer to break a concrete slab either, I'll use the sledge. Same goes for my EDCs. Just how I do it.
3. Quick and easy access. I am sitting at the table or desk and I have a small cutting task, I don't need to stand up to get the small EDC in the coin pocket. Call me lazy.
Just how I do it, maybe not for everyone. These 2 today. Only 5/8" difference between these 2 knives but sometimes there is a 1" to 2" or more difference between my 2 EDCs.
Regards, Jerry

Beautiful knives as always Jerry!
Carried my new #66 Dark Cherry jigged bone Moose into the woods this morning...used it to snip off and scoop out a small old cocoon I found dangling from a branch (treasure to give to my daughter) and also to trim up an old bee honeycomb I found in the leaves (another treasure for Sofia)

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Jerry, you have some pretty classy, classic hardware there to do your needed cutting tasks. Mike, that is one of the best of the modern knives on the market - very nice! OH
I did something quite out of character for me - I went to the knife shop, picked out a brand new knife of a design that appeals to me and dropped it in my pocket! I usually buy used knives to use and mint ones to collect - but I'm stepping outside the box - carried the new Case 6207W in the woods today for three hours while a hunting buddy and I scouted out where we want to set up for tomorrow morning (season opener for turkey). I had the Buck 112 on my belt and the new Case in my pocket - took the Case picture in the woods near a roost tree. I'm going to carry the same two tomorrow morning when I head back to the woods to hunt. OH

Zumwalt was Chief of Naval Operations when I served, early 70's. Zumi was a name we used. Not well liked by the old navy back then.
