You might be a knife nut if you use knife pattern numbers for your passwords in all of your accounts, because you can remember them easier that way. Guilty!

You might be a knife nut if you have to rake a lot of whet stones and sharpeners out of the way when you look through every drawer, tool box, tackle box, and glove box, for a piece of string, tape, or flashlight batteries.

Wow, some of those old names. Where have they all gone?

You might be a knife nut if you delay going to the bathroom because USPS tracking says you have a knife out for delivery.

You might be a knife nut if you receive a new knife and keep it on your desk and don't put it in the safe for a couple of weeks so you can fondle it.

You might be a knife nut if you buy a knife off eBay that you already have four five of, just because it's going cheap.

You might be a knife knut if you close the blade of you knife on your finger and yell, "Murphy, you dumb a&&" and smile about it.

You might be a knife nut if...you go to bed thinking about what knife you are going to carry the next day..and wake up still undecided!

You might be a knife nut if:

You arrive at airport security check 20 minutes before your flight, realize you forgot to take your favorite EDC out of your pocket and pack it in your already checked-in suitcase, step out of the security check line and frantically walk around the airport looking for someplace to stash your knife, decide to hide it behind some tourist ad flyers in a rack full of them, get on your flight, return four days later, and pick up your knife from right where you hid it!

The first thing friends say upon seeing you is "whatchya carrying today?"

Your wife long ago gave up knowing (or even asking) if the knife you're currently fondling is an old or a new acquisition.

You don't have room in your gun safe for guns so you had to get another safe.

You misplace your EDC and mope around for days feeling like your best friend just died.

You can assume your Christmas, birthday, Father's Day, etc. gift will be some type of knife. By the way, happy Fathers Day to all you dads and granddads!

You are on the way to an out of town funeral for a close relative, notice an antique shop on the way and stop to see if they have any knives before the funeral because they might not be open after, and your wife doesn't think this behavior is at all strange because this has happened before, and at the funeral many of your relatives ask if you saw the antique shop and stopped.
