Those GEC American Jacks are my current favorite for EDC. I have one in bone and now I need one in Ebony. It's a looker Scott and I bet it will serve you well, mine does.

Lawrence got his in Canada.

Phillip, you might contact this guy and ask if he will ship to the U.S.A. He's in Australia and that's where I got mine. I didn't ask him because the knife was bought and shipped by a third party and I just paid the third party once I received the knife.

I wa thinning the herd for the OKCA show and found a couple Schrade Waldens.
I have wanted a 294 for a long time and didn't know I had one! ::facepalm::
I love it!

The other is a little used Schrade Walden 8OT, with a tipped clip blade.
I modified it into a Wharncliffe blade. I like everything about it except it has too much snap!
For a Schrade it is a bear trap!

I always assumed the 78 Jack was 3.5" like the boys knife?
Anybody confirm or deny?

I will be getting dressed here in a bit. Same bunch will accompany me.

Nope the 78 is 3 3/4" or 3.75, A bit bigger and beefier than the boys knife but not so much as to be too big. For me it's just the right size for EDC. Feels and fits really well in hand ::tu::

I gotta agree with Brian.....it is a little beefier than the Boys Knife, but it fills the hand pretty knicely.

SOG Spec Elite ll Automatic and Case Yellow Delrin Canoe today. I guess I don't really have a favorite EDC, as long as I have a tactical folder in right front pocket and a traditional folder in left front and sometimes add a sheath knife (fixed or folder) on belt.

It wasn't the same bunch after all. My Imperial Scout stayed home so I could carry my Victorinox
Pocket tool kit. Large and small blades. Can and Bottle openers. And Awl and Phillips on the bottom.

When I changed I hung my CRKT Neck Knife around my neck. Haven't uploaded a pic yet.

Royal0014; If you have any heart flutter or you pass out from a slower than normal heartbeat which drops your blood presure too low it's probably A-fib. I had to wear a moniter, but only for 24 hours. I had to have a pacemaker put in. I'm on my 2nd one now, they usually last about 8 years. You'll feel a lot better after this is done. You'll be able to do anything you did before. I hope the best for you. ftd
