Swapped back to a Camillus #72 today. The plan is to just stick with this knife.
Hey JerryD,

If you are referring to me, sorry but I am not following you. Nice carry by the way!!!

Jerry
Yes I was talking to you and I was referring to bring this thread up into the View New Posts list so I didn't have to go looking for it. Sorry I wasn't a bit more specific.

Thanks for the compliment, both Jerry and dogg.

Even after reading all the chatter in this thread and others about carrying a knife in the watch pocket of my jeans, the thought never crossed my mind for me to carry a knife in my watch pocket. In fact I didn't think what I carry would fit. Since I decided to go back to the 72, on a whim I just now tried it and by golly, it does fit. I'm going to try it. The only thing I've ever carried in the watch pocket was back when I smoked and I carried my Zippo there. Hmmm. Interesting. ::hmm::

Headed out for a ride in the desert on the UTV with the wife. She carries the .40 cal on the right, I carry everything else. Extra mags of course, not pictured. Fun stuff...

I love that gun Joe! By the way, it is a S&W Governor, same animal though. Same deal as the Judge but can also shoot .45 AUTO with moon clips. With the ability to shoot a variety of 2-1/2" .410 shot and defense loads, 250 grain .45 Long Colt and 45 AUTO, what is not to love. A similair model Judge only holds 5 rounds also, the Governor holds six. And "Mix Six" at that with combo mixed round loads in the wheel.
Short 2-3/4" barrel is nice for mobility and it is fairly light in weight (29.6 oz) so has some significant kick with the .410 high brass loads.
All I can say is "devastating short range pistol". I never once regreted buying it. Maybe not for everyone but it fills a niche for me. I highly recommend one.
Regards, Jerry

Pulled this little 3" Case Coke Bottle penknife out of storage and carried it over the weekend - this was my last "normal" EDC from 2005-2011 (before I became a "knife knut" with an EDC rotation). It carries well in the pocket of lightweight short pants. OH

Colonel, those 3¼" to 3¾" jacks are just the dinktum for EDC. Light in the pocket, big enough to do what ever needs to be done and look damn good doing it.

Cutty, the 2¾" model is the one we bought for my buddy for his 70th birthday. He's quite happy with it. He would be even happier if he could nail that dad gummed ground hog.
