The Colonel thing..... I'm a Kentucky Colonel, I don't have the honor of having been in the military. Old Hunter is the real deal.

Then, due respect to you both. Through most of the 1970's I was an Enlisted Man and NCO in the U.S. Army. While I was able to accomplish much during that time and enjoyed serving my Country, I've been a PFC (Proud F#%$&*@# Civilian) since 1979 and did my time serving the private sector. My knife work is simply an extention of the same work ethic I've always had. Your happiness is my greatest reward.

Up at the Lake camping with the kids for their spring break. Came home for a while today to pick up a few forgotten things, check the mail etc.........................................and.....................................................

In the box was a bomb from the Duke Of Bugmeister aka junebug aka slash a fool aka my BUDDY.

I had no idea what so ever that the knife was on the way, guess that's where the BOMB part comes in huh?

So I open the package and this really nice Imparial EO pops out. The crazy thing is I have had one of these on my check list for a while and badda bing here one is

It's tight, snappy and really purty

Hey, I got a question for the bomber and/or the bombee (is that a word?), junebug and Cutty. What are the bail holes filled with, just a pin? I got an EO just like that one from TripleF a week or so back, it has a couple of cracks and chips, rust pitted steel bolsters, but very solid and snappy and was wondering about trying to replace the missing bail. Looks like a pin would work just fine . Cutty, those old gals really feel good in the hand but just a tad small.

i ground down the pin some.(IT WAS WIDE ).......then peened the pin back into a mushroomed head.

That rascal 313 Mike dropped this one on me today. Made sometime in the 1950s or 1960s it has not sat in a drawer all these years. It's been used and loved a lot over the years and that's what I intend to do with it. I'm planning to run it past the Lansky and drop it in my pocket. Thanks Mike. She's salty.

I got drill bombed yesterday
I started a knife project and was looking for suggestions on what to re-handle my Western W39 with and Glenn (glennbad) offered a selection for me to choose from......I selected, but had no idea this drill would accompany the wood slabs.....
