Creature of habit or is it just plain good taste? Cutty, you just can't go wrong with that pair.

Today was the first day that the signs were right for planting the salad part of my garden (I only have about 3000sqft or so in Garden). And since tomorrow is my double carpal tunnel surgery it was now or never. I used this ol loom fixer to cut open the seed packages (leaf lettuce, spinach, kale, turnip greens, mustard greens, English peas, and snap peas. )

I can understand that having held a few, it was a toss up between that and the newer Radio Jacks, so i went with the RJ. I'll see when it arrives this week if I made the right decision.

Nice carries guys!

Home from an international trip where I carried a small pen CASE 6233 for about 10 days straight.

Slip these 2 into my pocket when I got home yesterday. Will carry these again today.

Very nice!

I'm starting a job where I'll have to travel occasionally. I haven't been on a plane since before 911. Are you allowed to carry a knife like the pen or do you have to check it? Also what if I purchase a knife when I'm out and about? Can I check it and it will be fine?

No knives in carry on of course. Not allowed but you are welcome to try, if found, you have to go back to the car and drop it off or surrender it.

Knives in checked luggage are perfectly legal. No need to declare it either. However, do not put it or antything of value in the exterior pocket of your luggage, first place a dishonest baggage handler will look. I wrap mine in paper towels and put in a plastic bag in with my toiletries zipped in main compartment. Never had a problem. Plastic bag is in case your shaving cream explodes during flight.

Do not take a knife that you will be heartbroken if you get it ripped off. Unless your job really requires it, don't bring a huge tatical or auto. I usually carry a sub 3 inch pen and do not just whip it out in public for the hell of it.

Check the local laws where you go also. I carried that pen in Argentina for 10 days with no issue. But, I did not go to the park across from the hotel and pull it and cut everything in sight for fun either. Common sense applies...

Jerry, thanks for bringing this up so I don't have to search for it.

Swapped back to a Camillus #72 today. The plan is to just stick with this knife.
