Here are two pictures of a stainless Flylock that I own. The first picture is the blade etch and the second picture is on the reverse tang stamp with the "S" below the FLYLOCK KNIFE CO B'PORT CONN stamp.

Hope the pictures come through. I paid $22 for a Henry Sears stamped Ka-Bar Grizzly at an antique show and had Larry Hayes repair it with scales I bought from Mark Erickson. All the people who collect Ka-Bars we could contact said they didn't know Ka-Bar made any for H.Sears and this was likely the only one left out there.

I find it best to resize my photos to approx. 400-500kb for fast upload speeds that still have decent detail.

Jim ( roostershooter) , thanks for showing the tangstamp on your Flylock . Mine is stamped "THE FLYLOCK over KNIFE CO. over B`PORT. CONN." but was lightly struck and lacks some details so maybe that "S" was supposed to be there ?

It could be a weak stamp. All of the stainless flylocks I have seen are stamped as such.

I heard that "S" is sometimes below the liners . On another note ...... I attended the OKCA show in Eugene Oregon last week and had a great time . Sadly I left without a knife

The good news is that my friend I was traveling with felt bad that i left empty handed and let me pocket this little cherry to take home ....... Thanks Rick

Here is my latest auto that I picked up at the NCCA Mystic Conn show. It is a rare Cattaraugus Flylock. Look closely at the tang stamp on the front and it is marked Cattaragus, the U is missing. I have been looking for one of these for a very long time. I was trying to buy a Flylock double a few years ago but lost out on it.

Latest pickup Schrade Cut with 2 patent numbers on the back tang. Fires fast and sits deep in the well. A little up and down movement and the front bolster swings just a tiny bit. Still a nice one!

Just opened the mail box and these two fellas arrived today. I was so excited to get these, the waiting time until they arrived seemed forever. I have been looking for some nice Flylocks that were also semi-affordable, and in good condition.
