Black Epoxy?

Post by Miller Bro's »

I need to fill a couple holes on an old Flylock switch.

The handles are hard black rubber, I need an epoxy or filler that is hard and black in color to match. The only thing I could find for color was grey, white and clear at the hardware store.

Any suggestions on what to use?, and I don`t want something that will react with the original handle material and cause any damage. Can I use a clear and add some kind of color dye?

Thanks ::tu::

experiment with mixing black paint with it.
try a small amount first on some cardboard to see if it effects the glue from drying.
I've used all different colors of paint with epoxy and it works.

Or epoxy with toner from a laser printer cartridge mixed in. I do this a lot to fill cracks and bug holes when working with mesquite and similar woods.
