Here is a really special knife! This knife showed up along with a Ball Cap sent to me by a good friend that I have been dealing with on knives for awhile now. He warned me that the hat was on the way but didn't say a word about any knife. Needless to say I was blown away when I opened the box to find the very nice hat and this incredible GEC #15 (with my initials on the bolster.. ::woot:: ::woot:: ,I know they really mean Tom's Choice but are my initials as well) The Saw Cut bone is fantastic and reminds me of the OT's that I always had as a kid, and the all steel knives from GEC are quite nice. Needless to say this knife is very special to me and will always represent more than a beautiful knife, as it truly embodies the spirit of our great hobby. Collecting knives has been fun in many ways, but some of the people involved are what really makes it amazing.

I have captured one of my unicorns this week, Thanks to Barry! Been searching for one of these for a year and a half! Stainless #73 in American Walnut. I love this knife!!! Barry's pix, not mine..

I've always admired GEC stag, and have been carefully searching for just the right one to be my first.....after much deliberation and consideration this is the one I settled on, and man o' man am I ever happy with it! just gorgeous stag on this Half Whit, almost bluish tones to it on the shield side

Let me try this again! :oops: I am now an official GEC owner and a very happy one thanks to a nice trade with IMBand!! ::ds:: This is one of the best build knives I have ever seen and now I know why everyone raves and collects them! Wow what a wonderfully made knife and I am one lucky guy. :D

Well due to a mistake from our Postal Service my part of the trade did not make it to Trevor and in fact was sent directly back to me so this celebration is on hold until it is firmly in the hands of its intended recipient. :oops: ::facepalm:: This is my first trade with any member and having it go awry is not how you ever want a trade to go much less your first! ::facepalm::
