Can anyone tell what this knife is used for? Expecially the odd blade that is fully opened.

The extended blade sort of looks like it could be used as a plane.
Maybe to shave a piece of wood down evenly? (or cheese)

TJ:I posted a pic awhile back of a near identical knife except that mine has a combination bottle opener/can opener attached to the rear pin.Supposedly the curved blade is a grape harvesting blade or if you think more exotic for harvesting opium poppies.The straight edged blade with the hook on the end is similar to an old Chinese fixed blade knife I have but do not know it's purpose.The saw blade was likely used for removing small dead branches on the vines.Here are pics of both of them.

K7K, that looks like almost the identicle knife. Does your knife have an identifying mark on it? The knife that I posted is a Japanese knife.

Nope;no marks at all.I just filed it in my,"Mystery Knives" collection of knives I hope to identify someday.

Archery Blade, Reckon how it was used with bow and arrows I did a search for "Archery Knife" and "Archery Blade" and came up with nothing even close to OP knife

That blade puts me in mind of a mini draw knife. I looked to see if it might be a luthiers pocket knife but struck out.

For me, both blades being chisel sharpened indicates a wood smoothing function.

I've never seen such a knife before, but I agree with Jerry.

Everything about the knife, blade-wise, says, "I work with wood".

The flat blade with the hook or stop is pretty much definitely meant to be used as a draw knife.

The curved blade for shaping and sculpting and the saw for the obvious.

Charlie:The piece on the top is a folding combination can opener/cap lifter.I still believe it is a grape harvesting knife. The sinble bladed model on e-Bay is nearly identical to one I bought awhile ago made by Parker and the blade etched,"18 WHEELER" which leads me to think that the blade is for removing stones from tire treads.Here is another view of the knife(I've been looking around trying to find it so I can take a better picture) and the aforementioned Parker knife.

Guess I should have read your whole post.

If the knife has a can/bottle opener, then I'm going to guess some kind of camping knife.

Given that thought, the flat blade now looks more like a "froe".

A froe was a blade for splitting shingles, but could also be used for splitting kindling for starting a fire.

They were used with a mallet hammering on the back side to drive it through and that hook would keep the blade in place as it went through the piece of wood.

Just an opinion. Take it with a bit of salt.
