Been totin these 2 the last few days.
The slimline trapper always bugged me because the blade wouldn't open fully and the sping was slightly raised when open. Just a little touch on the back of the blade with my dremel and all is good.

Saw no reason to change. Imperial came in handy today to pull the pin to move a fork on a forklift. Just a crying shame that the awl is only about half as long now....

The Awl got broken when I was trying to change a clearance light a couple weeks ago. I hooked the pin with the can opener to pull it up. Worked VERY well.
Won't be any changing this morning. Gonna head out in 30 minutes or so.

These are the three in my carry rotation. Only carry one at a time but they all three get carried. I can't take credit for all the use they've seen. I would love to know the story behind the IXL. Those that had it before me got their money's worth. Minus years of use and sharpening the handles are in good shape and both blades snap open and closed. The other is a Van Camp Hardware. Rescued it from a coffee can full of other stuff in a junk store. The little Leatherman I have had for years and it is very useful.

Being as I had packed all Buck knives for my hunting trip, I decided to EDC a Buck as well - been carrying this Buck 55 since Sunday. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
However, the only piece of pocket cutlery I used was my Leatherman tool - the can opener worked just fine after discovering the big one in the drawer was broken. Big knives worked just as designed - cut that Butt up right quick and it was good! OH

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice carries Gents. Hard to keep up with this thread to comment on each of the carries posted but I like them all.
These 2 knives for the last 3 days. Love carrying a stag or bone CASE swing guard daily but I do rotate them out. The little stag lockback my Dad gave me new in 1996' and still have her. Stag is worn smooth almost. I like carrying these two as a pair so I took some new pics of them together. Some real deep gnarly stag on the pile side of that swing guard.
Regards, Jerry

I'm packing the old loomfixer today. It's all sharp, waxed, and wonderful. This is the first two bladed Jack that I've really liked.
