Doing my final packing right now, motoring out for FL in two hours - gonna hog hunt on Monday evening (apparently in the rain) and bird hunt on Tuesday morning with some buddies - picked this group of hunting knives for the trip. Don't know if I will get to use the Buck 124 pig-sticker, but it is a hoss! OH

I've been carrying this Schatt & Morgan "second" since February. It's from 1994 and is marked "Scout" but only has one blade. Made up of leftover parts.

that S&M second is danged interesting, hope ya stole it, price-wise (just icing on the cake  )

Looks like an ace back-pocket knife, being thinned down as it is. I have the "full" scout in the same handles, but that one of yours is pretty special. I'd own it in a heartbeat.

Everyone who knows me knows I don’t collect Case, although I do have a few I use.
I found this 6202 jack I thought I had lost or traded away. ::dang::
I had tucked it away somewhere & forgot where it was.

I have been EDCing it this last week and decided this is one Case I will keep! ::super_happy::
It has really good steel in the blades!
The only thing I don’t like about it is the pulls are on opposite sides of the knife.
I like the way Schrade puts both pulls on the mark side of the knife! ::nod::

I agree 100% about the nail nicks. That (and funds) have kept me from a SBJ.
And that alone keeps me from a Texas Jack.

Strange thing is I don't mind so much on a 3 blade knife.....

I've been carrying this one for a few days. Stout built with half-stops and snaps like a gator. Not sure yet if it's my favorite but I sure like it. It's a Catt'.
