summer show

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Good to know you're still around Bruce! It's been a long time. Yes, you'd think we would've heard something by now, but we can't get confirmation of the reunion on the Case Collector''s Club Forum either. ::shrug::

It will be great to hear from you! My phone number hasn't changed in about the last 14 years, so whenever it's convenient for you, just shout.

I am not sure if this will be of any help, but when in Bradford a couple weeks ago, I stopped at the museum and inquired as to if the old swap meets were still being held. The answer was, of course, no, but I was told that Case is planning “something” in Bradford this June.

On Saturday, August 16th , W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company will host an event at the Museum of Appalachia in Norris, TN . If the name sounds familiar, that is because this will be our third gathering at this museum, which is often referred to as a living mountain village. Hundreds of Club members joined us in the past and have since then asked (even begged) us to “bring the celebration closer to their homes.” Well folks, we listened, and are heading out to the museum to treat the dedicated members of the Case Collectors Club to another unforgettable experience – Case style!

This is the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the people who make our Club the best in the world. This 125th Anniversary celebration will give Club members the chance to greet old friends, meet some new ones, and share stories and experiences of Case knife collecting. We promise a day of fun and excitement for the whole family.

There are many more details to share. Watch for a registration packet arriving in late March containing more details, including the Schedule of Events, how to register to join us, special guests who will be attending, commemorative knives, where to stay, and more. In the meantime, save the date and share the news with your family.

Got this off the forum hope it helps
