Muskrat Error?

I am attaching some photos of a muskrat pattern and it clearly had an incorrect blade installed at the final assembly point at the Case shop. Each blade is stamped MUSKRAT and there is no usual tang stamp with CASE XX and dots, etc.
Is this an error that any of you has seen repeated, ie are there others out there? What year do you think this was done? I am betting on the 1980s based on the handles. It is bone that Case called black but there is some mottling in there.

What an oddball - never seen one like that. I think you are correct - 1980-82
