Wife's brother had triple bypass

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Wife's brother had triple bypass

Post by treefarmer »

Didn't have time to post a prayer request for one of my wife's brother as he went through a triple bypass Thursday afternoon. But I do want to praise the Lord for a successful open heart surgery and ask y'all to remember him as he recovers his strength.
We got the news and made a fast trip to Orlando Wednesday evening to be with the family during the surgery and are now back in the panhandle, thankful for a safe trip and good reports on her brother.
When Miss Joy talked to her brother prior to the surgery, he told her he just couldn't let her get ahead and be the only one in the family with bypass surgery!

Update: Bro-in-law sitting up and after few steps told one of the family, "Feels like I've been run over by a truck." My wife responded, "That's about how I felt too!" So we are pleased and thankful for his progress.

jlw257, thanks for putting him on y'alls prayer chain.

wlf, Isa.59:1 is always a comfort when we experience rough place in the road, thanks!

I'm glad to hear he made it through okay. Sounds like he will be fine, once he recovers and rehabs. It's a slow road (I know all too well), but he'll feel better once he is fully recovered.

I will continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, praise the Lord for a successful surgery!
I missed this topic earlier, but I will pray for a full & quick recovery!
The doctors can do amazing things with surgery, but Jesus is the Great Physician, all healing comes from Him!

Just got word that wife's brother had to be readmitted to the hospital due to fluid in his lungs. please continue to ask the Lord to bless him through this time. Had the by-pass surgery last Thursday. Speculating, my wife remembers the breathing exercises she had to do at home after her heart surgery and they were difficult, so...... ::shrug:: .
Please pray for all involved, my brother-in-law, his wife, the family and the medical folks that are tending to him.
Thanks for your prayers.

Good news, he's already back home, with his own personal breathing treatment machine. Continue to pray for his recovery. Thank you.

Thank you sir. Brother-in-law is doing very well. My wife got a report that he showed up at the butcher house earlier this week with a load of cattle. She was also told he had a chauffeur, he was probably supervising and not cowboying ::facepalm:: ! The Lord certainly blessed him as his surgery was just one month ago.
