Nice trio. I'd give my left "ahem" for one of those white pearl LG whittlers. Be a perfect match to my 1/2 congress. Rare birds

That is a quality looking little knife Ryan, they certainly look nice with their Northfield trim. Very pretty wood on that.
This #61 showed up today, here is a quick pic. Handles are American Elk, serial #02.

Got this Natural Stag Viper today*** she is a real looker, but the backspring is ""nail breaker""
___ I had read somewhere that the springs were about 7 outa' 10____ I was hoping mine was also
___bad thing is,I have an, African Blackwood coming too !!!!! __guess I'm gettin' to old for these ""GEC's""

Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
That's an awful nice looking knife Monk, my Viper in OD Linen Micarta has an EDC friendly pull to it. It's been a great user so far and the 3 3/4" size is just right. I've got a couple Stag #47 Vipers on the way and will report what the pull is on them. I have said it before and will again......I WISH GEC WOULD STOP SWEDGING THESE PULLS TO DEATH. This Northfield version of the knife may have benefitted from a Long Pull with a swedge in front of the pull. GEC has done some #23's with these crescent nail nicks and then swedged across them making them too shallow imo. Still beautiful knives and I probably won't be EDC'ing a Stag version, it would be nice if they would consider function along with form.

Re: Mail Call, Post Your New GECs.
that's all true,Trevor***____ I was going to put her on display, anyways, but still, you want a pull easy enough, you could put her in the pocket
______ That was the main reason,I didn't buy one of the #78 Jacks
____ I was told the ""pull was nail breaker""

Never enough 42's IMO. Even with all the talk concerning blade play you don't see many on the secondary market and the new runs disappear quickly. Eagerly awaiting the blood red Northfield and micarta GEC. Going to be sweet!

I'm no expert on slip joints, but it's not unmanageable, strong with a solid snap. As others put it, it walks and talks and I think I know what they mean now.
