Here is a little Johnathan Crookes (Heart and Pistol cipher) quill knife I recently fished out of the bay with a group of others.

Good pearl, good snap, square and clean joint. The pivot pin turns with the blade but I will leave well enough alone. 2 7/8" closed and very delicate.

It's getting harder and harder to find knives older than me but I think this one qualifies.

At least I don't remember ever having to use one of these in school. ::undecided::

Great looking quill knife!

I haven't been able to get out much lately, buy yesterday I did hit an antique store and found a few.

These four were in a bag for $16... Camillus 65, Schrade Cut Co., Utica tool kit knife, and this cool Kabar.

I just love the stag on this Kabar. It's a shame that it is well used...

I also found these two. This Keen Kutter is pretty well used up, but the bone and the half stops are great.

Yeah, I'm still puzzling on that one. I didn't post an open blade shot, but it has a "Wards" main blade in it. Not sure if it is original to the knife, but it looks like it fits well. Don't think I have seen a Wards in a utility pattern, but for the few bucks I dropped on it, it was worth the curiosity. It's seen better days, and is kinda sloppy and loose, so it definitely needs a day at the spa.

Not really a find since I MEANT to buy it. Had a hankering for a bone handled Peanut.
The Red CV one had too much pink at the ends of the bones.
So I got a Chestnut boned CV Peanut.

Right now it's in a Potato

I'll attempt to get a pic or three of it tomorrow.

Very sorry if this is only supposed to be OLD knives.
